Volunteering at North Fort Volunteer members of the RAAHC provide extensive support to the AHU staff in the day to day running of North Fort. Volunteers form the Corps of Guides, staff the Library, operate the equipment refurbishment and restorations workshops, assist in the Café, and undertake fund raising and events management under the aegis of the RAAHC Board of Directors. If you have an interest in military history, have good presentation skills and are willing to give a day or two to North Fort you can apply to become a North Fort Guide. Appropriate familiarisation training will be provided and former service as a gunner is not an essential. If your skills are more related to information technology, events management, library work, research tasks or equipment refurbishment and restorations you will be welcome to apply to be added to the ranks of our library, administration and workshops teams. To apply for membership of the RAAHC please complete the Application Form and return it to the Company Secretary (Registrar) at the address shown on the form.
