Guided Tours at North Fort - Wed, Sat & Sun

The tours depart at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.00pm. These tours take approximately 1 ½ hrs and cover the Defence of Sydney Memorial, Australia’s Memorial Walk, the 9.2 inch gun fortifications and tunnels, and several gun parks. Guided Tour patrons are also entitled to visit Whitelaw Artillery Hall and browse at their leisure. This may be done before the guided tour starts or on completion.

Self-Guided Mini Tours at North Fort - Thu & Fri

Self-Guided mini tours are available from 9.00am to 3.00pm. These tours take approx 30 minutes and cover Whitelaw Artillery Hall, Defence of Sydney Monument and Australia's Memorial Walkway. There is a large map at the cafe showing the layout and there is a self-guided tour brochure.

Group & School Guided Tours - By arrangement

These tours can be arranged by appointment by calling (02) 9976 6102 or (02) 9976 3855 during business hours ( 9am – 5pm), Tuesday to Friday. The Museum and business office are closed on Monday.

The museum gates close at 4.00pm
