Royal Australian Artillery Historical Company (RAAHC)

The RAAHC is a not for profit public company formed in 1997 to provide a corporate governance organisation to which most volunteers belong.

The RAAHC assumed the roles of the original volunteer organisation formed in 1981, the Royal Australian Artillery Historical Society (RAAHS Inc)

Membership of the RAAHC provides a number of benefits not the least of which is personal risk coverage while performing volunteer tasks on behalf of the National Artillery Museum .

  • Free access to the RAA National Museum, and most of the museums in the Army Museum Network

  • Free use of the North Fort Library

  • 10% discount on books and merchandise purchased from the North Fort Café

† Cannonball is the quarterly Journal of the RAAHC and regularly contains articles on artillery history and reports on current Museum matters of interest.

‡ North Fort Mess is available for volunteers to use during and after duty at North Fort. Occasional social activities may be conducted for members and guests.
