National Artillery Museum

The Royal Australian Artillery National Museum is a member of the Army Museum Network which is administered by the Army History Unit within the Department of Defence in Canberra.

Displays include:

Ammunition development

Fortress defence of Sydney & Australia from Colonial times to post World War II

Sir Roden Cutler story

Uniforms and accoutrements

Local defence weapons including small arms, machine guns and mortars

Temporary displays of photographs and artifacts of military significance

Short videos

Artillery Weapons and equipment displays including:

. Anti-Aircraft & Locating Artillery hangar

. The Gunner's Exhibition hangar (Field artillery & contemporary historical material)

. Anti-Tank display hangar

. World War II Coastal Battery fortifications and tunnels

. Memorial Walkway and alcoves with campaign maps, photographs and captions from Colonial Wars to      recent operations

Displays are dynamic and under continual development, repair and maintenance and may not always be open to museum visitors
